but hey get straight today.was.incredibly.boring. contradiction? OF COURSE. I USED TO LOVE DA NIAN CHU ER MANY MANY. but today was disappointing spent half the day entertaining daddy's colleagues and attempting to coax two bickering brothers to take turns and play runescape THERE WERE ALOT OF BABIES CAN, and they kept crying !!!
plus, i ate alot leaving very little for the guests mummy finally got all the hokkaido food out she hid it for one whole month can! we didnt even reeally get to eat it!! nobody dared to eat the scallop can, its nice la pplease its one buck each ehh
it was very weird too, to get many people to LIE about the way we two look

the five examples of external events that affected singapore in the 19th and early 20 centuries

the industrial revolution started in the 18th century. the spinning jenny was invented and new sources of power such as the steam engine was discovered. in the olden days, they can only prodice enough cloth to be self-sufficent. now with the new machines they can produce much more cloth to be sold. machines made use of water power to work. coal was burned to turn water into steam. this resulted in a need in more raw materials like coal. machines are also located in factories, so many had to move to the towns to work. factories then had poor working conditions and very low wages. towns became more and more polluted too. later on, laws were passed to protect the rights of the workers as well as to ensure the building of better houses.
the industrial revolution affected singapore as there was a need in raw materials froim asia. more ships visited singapore and our trade increased. many ships also stopped here to obtain food supplies and refuel. we became an important fport or collection of goods and the distriution of goods from the west.
besides, sailing ships bringing letters from europe to singapore then took 4-5 months. with the coming of steamships, the time taken was reduced to about 5 weeks, this improvement in speed of communication took singapore into close contact with britian to the rest of the world.

HOW COME LA I ASK YOU wasnt there fire in tongxinyuan too!? wasnt that the weirdest idea?! why d they have to use the same idea again!? a fire isnt like the only way to heal family wounds okay it always like that-at the end part of the drama the business the main characters are running will go on fire wow what does it say? we have lousy safety measures, go get your fire extinguishers now -just in case.

blasts from the past
yesterday was rather good (: had tuition in the morning. quite nice actually, similarity and congruency blows my mind! thenthenthen, wanted to get a walk to rmb from timothy but hes at j8. couldnt watch movie also. cause theres major partying out yesterday night and mummy lied that it started at four thirty. ouch.
dined out at this lousy restaurant. people kept going up the stage and singing gay cheena songs, and we were rather annoyed and interrupted on purpose. keef was like standing up in the middle of it all and suddenly shouted 'HAO! ' xD. poor attitude and service too. the women didnt even apologise when she spilled tea all over, she just went on pouring. sheeesh.
afterwards we went t this rather freaky club for blasts from the past. the adults rather entertained. i only managed you're the one, top of the world and when you say nothing at all before zzz-ing till 1pm when its time to go home (:
to sum it all up, a rather blingbling night i say. :D

okayokay. so t international-debate performace went fine. we pretty much amused them i think. before that however, we were all running around the school in our red-hot costumes looking for people while avoiding passing by the classes,
after all that, we still have like half an hour more of home ec left before recess. so we rushed there t find our poor partners working alone. apparently trying to cook some iforgotwhat. fat lot of help i gave by uh slicing a ginger until it got smaller and smaller, cooking the potato until it looks distorted, then afterwards by mixing the oil with the ?????
after sch went j8 with lou. present-hunting for yangee and timothy. then ended up at kiddie palace because the things there are fcuking cute. wanted to buy things like milkbottle. lou however begged to differ. she says that its an insult to howveer's recieving it xD
generally, today was quite excitingg :D and the juniors are coming in tmr!
